Nothview Hills boundaries are Ellicott Street to the north, Chelsea Street to the south, East Tampa (neighborhood) to the west, and East Lake-Orient Park to the east. [1]

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 901 people and 321 households residing in the neighborhood. The population density was 3,204/mi². The racial makeup of the neighborhood was 24% White, 71% African American, 0% Native American, 0% Asian, 3% from other races, and 1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6% of the population.
There were 480 households out of which 35% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 38% were married couples living together, 26% had a female householder with no husband present, and 4% were non-families. 28% of all households were made up of individuals.
In the neighborhood the population was spread out with 33% under the age of 18, 18% from 18 to 34, 19% from 35 to 49, 17% from 50 to 64, and 15% who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 81.1 males.
